BIBLICAL FASTING
“Even now,” declares the Lord, “return to me with all your heart, with fasting and weeping and mourning.” Joel 2:12
The purpose of a Biblical Fast is to seek a more intimate relationship with Yeshua, Jesus Christ, as we “Enter” His Holy Presence and “Engage” in His Holy Word for a time of Consecration, Renewal, Restoration, and Redirection from God, as we also Pray. Fasting is a personal decision for the believer and should warrant praying about fasting. We choose to partake in this spiritual discipline to sacrificially abstain from self-gratifying foods and beverages. (Daniel 1:8, 10:3) As a ministry, we take time monthly to fast (except for the months of July and December). We will fast the first Monday – Wednesday of each month and end on Thursday morning at 5am. We will eat one meal a day. We fast from meat, sweets, fried foods, dairy products, sodas, and coffee. We consume plenty of water, 100% juices, herbal teas, vegetables, fruits, plant-based foods, beans, brown rice, non-dairy milk or foods, nuts, whole grains, seeds, or granola bars (limited sugar). If you are taking medication, have health concerns, or questions, consult your doctor.

We are Warriors for Christ, Bible-believing, Spirit-filled and Spirit-led, worshipers who believe by faith, pray, declare, and decree the Word of God with the “Whole Armor of God,” in the authority of Yeshua*Jesus Christ through the power of the Holy Ghost. (2 Chronicles 7:14-16, Hebrews 11, Ephesians 6:10-18, Acts 2:1-4) We gather on the first Monday of each month via Zoom for a Prayer Service except for the months of July and December.
